 At the heart of the Maximailer Plus is PFE's unique imos software. This allows all functions of the system to be programmed from a touch-screen PC system with virtually no manual adjustment, and no need for tools or costly setup time. Once an application has been programmed, it can be simply recalled at any time and the Maximailer Plus will adjust itself ready for use. There is no limit to the number or complexity of applications that can be saved. Once the application is running, a full graphical display of its progress can be seen, along with speed, production data, and relevant operator assistance messages. When production is complete, the detailed statistics and data-logging facilities enable the operator to report on any aspect of the application, or to ensure that every document has reached its intended destination. The optional pics software can then be used to interrogate this data for more detailed reporting, or to produce re-print files.
